In the past ten years, neuroscientists have begun the effort to solve this problem. Neuroscience is a scientific discipline that includes a range of areas that explore, among other things, how the human brain learns and what factors affect that learning. As such then, neuroscientists are poised to begin exploring what human cognitive variables enable some students to learn easily and others to struggle.
